United Airlines to launch nonstop CPT service

United Airlines has announced the launch of a new non-stop service between the New York and Cape Town starting in December.

The seasonal route will depart from Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey, New York, to Cape Town and will be operated by a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft featuring 48 seats in business class, 88 seats in Economy Plus and 116 seats in Economy.

The introduction of this new route is said to provide a much-needed link between the USA and Cape Town from a tourism perspective and an increase in business and investment opportunities.
