Handing airline ticket over

What story does Q2-2024 tell us about corporate travel? Global airline passenger demand is up 9.1%, the average room rate is rising, and economic uncertainty underpins everything as we move into H2-2024. However, data shows that the first half of 2024 created positive momentum for the rest of the year.

In APAC, hotel occupancy remains strong and we’re seeing many corporate clients opting to shift to cheaper options to conserve budgets. Meanwhile in the Americas, airline demand remains strong. And despite economic challenges in Europe, there’s modest growth in hotel average room rates. Globally, there are geopolitical and economic undertones that may impact corporate travel moving into H2.
