FCTG aims for the sky with major supplier event at its global HQ
FCM, as part of the Flight Centre Travel Group (FCTG), welcomed more than 250 industry partners to its global HQ in Brisbane.
The event was designed to be the company’s next step in positioning itself to win, as Australia joins the rest of the world to open borders and welcome back international travellers.
“We’ve always been proud of the relationships and collaboration we’ve been able to curate with our suppliers and this event gave us a tremendous chance to come together and plot the path forward as a collective,” said Managing Director Australia James Kavanagh.
“The pent-up demand across land, sea, and air is remarkable – leisure and business travellers have been waiting for the best part of two years to get back out there to see the world, to hug family and friends, to win business and hire new talent.
“The demand for travel is also being matched by the desire for people to have a travel management company on their side throughout the process as they navigate the post-COVID travel environment.
“This event gave us the perfect opportunity to align with our suppliers to ensure we continue to be best placed for a recovery in travel as we aim to go above and beyond the needs of our customers.
“FCTG has always strived to be ahead of the curve and our excitement for a strong return to travel is replicated by our passion to strengthen our supplier partnerships even further and that will, in turn, deliver a better all-round experience for our travellers.
“I’d like to thank all our supply partners for joining us in person at our global HQ in Brisbane today and we look forward to forging even stronger relationships with them going forward.”
