FCM Names Andy Hegley UK & Ireland Managing Director
8th June, 2022 – Global travel management company FCM is pleased to announce the appointment of Andy Hegley to the newly created role of Managing Director for the UK & Ireland.
Alongside delivering revenue and growth, Hegley will be responsible for amplifying FCM’s strong brand, unique product and compelling service proposition. Hegley’s appointment is effective immediately.
Having begun his Flight Centre career as a Business Development Manager in 2007, Hegley has held a succession of management positions throughout the corporate business including Area Leader, Brand Leader, and most recently, was UK General Manager for sister brand, SME specialist Corporate Traveller.
Hegley’s appointment comes at a pivotal time for FCM as its game-changing platform and a slew of innovative client solutions gear up to debut across the company‘s portfolio of large national and multi-national clients.
With economic recovery underway and business travel demand ramping up, Hegley will also oversee the smooth onboarding and management of a record number of UK-managed prestige account wins secured by FCM over the past 12 months which includes several household brands and the UK government, which is now one of the company’s largest clients in the country.
