Millenium hotels

Millennium Hotels and Resorts consist of a diverse portfolio of over 100 hotels with a myriad of offerings, comprising of seven brands: Millennium, Grand Millennium, Copthorne, Kingsgate, M Hotel and Studio M. The hotels offer 4 star, 4 star deluxe and 5 star accommodation in gateway cities and key business districts across Asia, Europe, Middle East, North America and New Zealand.

The group have recently welcomed the acquisition of their first 5 star property in London, The Chelsea Harbour Hotel. Located in an exclusive area of west London, the hotel overlooks the River Thames and offers stunning panoramic views of London. The hotel is London’s only 5 star all-suite hotel, with 154 spacious suites and 4 luxury penthouse suites.

Outside of Europe, Millennium Hotels and Resorts continue to make investments across its properties in North America. The group has invested $22 million refurbishing the Millennium Hotel Minneapolis in 2013 and $30 million on renovations at ONE UN New York the previous year.  Over the next 12 to 18 months, the group’s goal is to make a significant investment in upgrading all of the properties in the North American portfolio. Renovation plans have been confirmed for properties in Boulder, Buffalo, Scottsdale and Anchorage. Further plans will be announced in the near future.

In the Middle East, Millennium and Copthorne Middle East and Africa (MEA) has announced that it will open 20 new hotels in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which is part of a wider plan to operate 50 properties throughout the region by 2017. The hotel group will open hotels in Riyadh, Jeddah, Medina and Makkah, as well as important second tier cities such as Hayel, Jizan, Tabouk and Baha. In total it will have over 7,000 rooms in the Kingdom.

Recent openings in Asia include the M Hotel Chengdu and the Millennium Resort Hangzhou. The 196 room M Hotel Chengdu is just a short drive from the Shuangliu International Airport and is close to the Chengdu High Tech Zone Park, the home of many Fortune 500 companies. The Millennium Resort Hangzhou is situated in an area famed for its natural beauty, yet conveniently close to several transport links. 151 elegantly-designed guest rooms and suites feature private balconies and take in charming views of the natural surrounds and tea plantations.
