On the flipside, China, South Korea and New Zealand were three of the key markets where seat numbers fell. This was reflected in lower hotel rates across some of the top cities within these countries. Other trends in Q4-2021 included higher seat capacity for Fiji - where leisure travel dominated; India – as its domestic market continued to surge and Australia – as borders started to reopen.
