FCM wins Procurement Australia’s Supplier of the Year award
23 August 2022 – FCM is proud to announce that the corporate travel specialists have won Supplier of the Year at Procurement Australia’s prestigious 2022 Excellence Awards in Melbourne.
Each of the Excellence Awards are chosen by members of the Procurement Australia community.
Procurement Australia Chair, Mr Ken McNamara announced the winners, saying: “It’s a pleasure to be able to present these awards to the hard-working and highly regarded members of the procurement industry.
“Our goal with these awards is to acknowledge and celebrate procurement industry practitioners and suppliers who are going above and beyond to procure a better world for all of us. We’re thrilled to return to present these awards in person once more.”
Procurement Australia said that FCM had consistently provided exceptional customer service through a dedicated customer service and account management team.
“In partnership with FCM, the travel program at Procurement Australia has continued to innovate to provide more products and benefits for our members - even at the height of the COVID-19 outbreak,” said Procurement Australia’s analysis.
“In 2021, a comprehensive Hotel Program was launched in the middle of the pandemic. The program has already provided our members with greater choice as well as further savings, in what has been a tumultuous period for the travel sector.
“Despite the challenges, FCM has continued to provide our members with everything they need to travel – even with requirements changing on a daily basis.
“FCM has shown themselves to be a true partner for both Procurement Australia and our members and have consistently gone above and beyond to deliver an exceptional program on our behalf for our members.”
Flight Centre Corporate Managing Director ANZ Melissa Elf said it was an honour to be named as Supplier of the Year for Procurement Australia.
“We have a great relationship with their team and it's a long-standing partnership that we're humbled to have,” Ms Elf said.
“We've spent a long time collaborating and curating a relationship that benefits both sides - this award wouldn't have been possible without the excellent support we've received throughout from Procurement Australia.
“It's truly wonderful to be recognised in this way, but I must pay tribute to our FCM team that has made this possible. During the pandemic, we put a huge amount of time and effort into preserving and enhancing our key relationships, focusing on still delivering the best possible service and outcomes in the most challenging of times.
“We've always prided ourselves on being the supplier of choice and this award is for every single person that has come together - both FCM and Procurement Australia - to make this recognition possible. We look forward to continuing and enhancing our already great partnership.”
